Kirkham Grammar School celebrated National Poetry Day today with a visit from the fabulous Kimba Bush.
Kimba, through his performance poetry, taught the pupils how to use the acronym 'Shampoo' to improve their creative writing - simile, hyperbole, alliteration, metaphor, personification, onomatopoeia and oxymoron.
Our First, Second and Third Year pupils thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
