Gordon to compete at Biathle World Championships, Orlando

On Friday 18 October, KGS First Year pupil, Gordon Ballantyne will fly to Orlando for the Biathle World Championships. Gordon qualified for both the individual and relay events over the Summer and will compete in the Under 13 category despite being a year younger. The individual event, which takes place on Saturday 26 October, consists of a 400m run (on gravel and asphalt), 50m saltwater swim, followed by another 400m run. Gordon will find out more about the relay event, which takes place next Wednesday 23 October, when he arrives in Florida.
