Kirkham were group runners up beating Cheadle Hulme School 24-5, Old Swinford Hospital 21-20 and losing to Wirral Grammar School 21-5. Kirkham then met Lancaster RGS in the cup quarter final who had looked strong in their group. Kirkham lost 27-5 and Lancaster made it to the final where they were beaten by St Ambrose College. Try scorers on the day were Elliot Callow (2), Max Bailey, Luke Dean, Chudi Ezeigbo (2) and Alex Cason.
