We are delighted to announce that Kirkham Grammar School, in conjunction with local independent book store, 'Book, Bean and Ice Cream', has been chosen to host a very special event with Supervet, author and Channel 4 presenter, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, on Monday 14 November.
Professor Noel Fitzpatrick is a world-renowned veterinary surgeon and the star of the hit Channel 4 television show, The Supervet, now in its seventeenth series.
When Noel was a child, he dreamt up Vetman as a hero who would save all the broken and discarded animals of the world and make them well using amazing inventions made from the things other people throw away. He is incredibly excited to share the story of his hero with readers.
At Kirkham Grammar School, we encourage authors to visit our school because we know that these opportunities inspire children and help them on their journey to a love of reading.
We are thrilled that Noel has chosen Kirkham Grammar School as the venue for his visit to the area.
