Having been selected for Thornton Cleveleys Cricket Club adults 3rd XI team and Sunday team, Kirkham Grammar School Fifth Year pupil, Raphael, made his debut for the 2nd XI team on Sunday 11 September, owing to his performances.
At just 15 years of age, Raphael is the youngest player on all three teams and, having developed into a good bowler, usually opens the bowling for both the Sunday and 3rd XI team. He has helped the Sunday team win the league for the second consecutive year and it is hoped that the newly promoted 3rd XI team get to 4th place at the end of the season.
Raphael gained 13th place in the Lancashire bowling honours board achieving 6 wickets for 7 runs.
