In mid-October, Kirkham Grammar School pupils celebrated National Poetry Day, with First and Second Years participating in a treasure hunt around the grounds to discover the English department's favourite poets, before listening to their teachers' favourite poetic song lyrics and choosing their own examples. Third Years wrote their own poems on the theme of 'choice'.
