Altrincham scored early, catching the Kirkham backline sleeping. However, Kirkham responded through a clever pick and go from Rhys Fray. Sol Mattatia finished of an impressive counter attack to score Kirkham’s next try. Altringham tried hard but made too many handling errors and this allowed Kirkham plenty of attacking opportunities against the disorganised defence. Tom Gut, Tobias Parkinson (2) and Aaron Pope also crossed the line for Kirkham making the final score 34-5.
