On Monday 5 December, Kirkham Grammar Junior School took part in their annual Indoor Athletics match against Lytham St Anne’s Road Running Club which was held at Lytham YMCA Sports Centre. Eighteen U11 KGJS pupils took part in sprints, relays, throws, jumps and relays. All races were very keenly contested with many close finishes and the throwing and jumping events produced some excellent performances from both teams. After an hour of excellent athletics the results were as follows:
