Kirkham Grammar School's U15 team played in the first sevens tournament at AKS. The group consisted of Stockport Grammar School, Bury Grammar School and Giggleswick School. The KGS boys managed to win all the group games to top their group.
KGS then had a further three games against Saint Mary’s, Crosby, Lancaster Royal Grammar School and AKS. The boys beat their opponents in all six games, scoring close to 40 points in every game.
The Kirkham Grammar School under 15s won the tournament. The players were a credit to the school and showed great determination throughout. This was great practise before they travel to Warwick school for their next sevens competition.
