To celebrate Shrove Tuesday, our Kirkham Grammar School junior and infant pupils took part in a pancake race extravaganza. Pupils were led by the Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains and Vice Captains. The infant pupils participated in the 'Sizzle and Run', stopping at markers to sizzle their pancake and race to the finish line. The junior pupils participated in the 'Flip and Run', stopping at markers to flip their pancake and race to the finish line. Winners went head-to-head to find each year group's 'Sizzling Champion'. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Pancake Day, particularly enjoyed their delicious pancakes at lunchtime, served by our wonderful KGS catering team.
