End of season cricket report
Under 15 Season 2022
It has been an amazing season for KGS cricket. The weather has been favourable; no games were rained off; and this meant more cricket was played than for many, many years.
The side were always highly competitive and many close games were played. They leave the summer in good heart having had two great wins in the final week.
It was always entertaining and many superb individual performances and champagne moments were witnessed. On the whole, batting proved more of strength than bowling, but collectively the side made improved progress as the season unfolded. This culminated in an outstanding all round performance against Giggleswick.
The players are in a worthy place to step up and enjoy their time in the first team for the next three years, knowing that they were involved in an outstanding Under 15 summer, of 1000 plus runs.
