Whilst the current situation has prevented inter school fixtures from taking place, this did not stop our local schools and even the Isle of Man from getting competitive!
On Monday 30 November Kirkham Grammar Junior School took part in a virtual Indoor Athletics Competition between Rossall, AKS and The Buchan School from the Isle of Man.
Each school recorded their performances in the following events: Speed Bounce, Long Jump, Triple Jump and Vertical Jump.
Four age groups were involved: U11 boys, U11 girls, U10 boys and U10 girls.
After a very enjoyable evening of athletics, Kirkham recorded the following results:
U11 Boys - 1st
U11 Girls - 4th
U10 Boys - 1st
U10 Girls - 2nd
