Yesterday, Kirkham Grammar Junior School held their first ever House Indoor Athletics Competition for their J1 and J2 under 8 and 9s. During the last 8 weeks, under Covid restrictions, all the children had been taking part in a variety of indoor events which led to them being awarded a badge, depending on the points achieved. This event signalled the finale of their 10 week half term!
Everyone took part in an individual race and a team sprint relay. After 22 races the team positions were as follows:
J1 (under 8s)

2nd Colborne
3rd Birley
4th Clifton
J2 (under 9s)
1st Clifton
2nd Colborne
3rd Birley
4th Drapers
