On Monday 12th June, J2 went to Samlesbury Hall. They were met by Mistress Marjory, the lady of the house. She told them that she didn't like the boys! They had a tour of the house and found out what life was like for the peasants and the Lord's family, who enjoyed lots of feasts in the Great Hall. The children were a little scared by the ghost stories and George acted as a Catholic priest hiding from the King's soldiers. Everyone enjoyed their lunch outside in the courtyard and then designed their own shields and scary gargoyles. They ended their super day in the outdoor play area.
