All pupils have 3 x 60 minute lessons per week covering all different disciplines. Independence in getting changed is encouraged. If your child has trouble tying their shoe-laces and fastening top buttons, a little bit of practice over the summer would be beneficial. Please provide your child with velcro trainers unless they are very confident and quick at fastening their laces.

Inter-House Sport:
All pupils are members of one of the four houses. The main emphasis is upon participation and every pupil is involved. The sports participated in are as follows:
• Athletics
• Cross Country
• Cricket
• Hockey
• Netball
• Rounders
• Rugby
• Swimming
• Tennis
All the results are displayed in the school hall. A cup/trophy is awarded to the winning house in a celebration assembly for every sport and a running total is displayed. During the last week of the school year the house with the greatest number of points is awarded the overall trophy. The Swimming Gala and the Athletics Championship are the highlights of the Inter-House sporting calendar when the whole junior department comes together for these two events.
