BOARDING FACILITIES
Boarders have access to a shared kitchen and dining area at specific times, giving them the opportunity to make snacks, socialise and enjoy a little independence.
There are three main common rooms, each designed for a different kind of downtime:
-
Games Room – Complete with pool table, darts, table football, chess and more, it’s the perfect place for some friendly competition.
-
Digital Lounge – A cosy space with sofas, a TV, Wii, PlayStation, DVDs and music for relaxed evenings with friends.
-
Quiet Room – A calm area for reading, board games, quiet chats or simply taking a moment to unwind.
Facilities and Daily Life
Boarders use the school canteen for breakfast and dinner each day, and the library is available during scheduled prep times to support focused study.
Outside of academic hours, boarders can enjoy the school grounds – whether that’s playing sport on the quad or fields, using the on-site gym, or spending time in the sports hall.
Older pupils in Sixth Form may also sign in and out to visit local amenities in their free time, giving them a little more independence and responsibility.
A Supportive, Safe Environment
The boarding house is also home to our Headmaster and dedicated House Parents, creating a strong sense of family and support. On site, pupils have access to:
-
A laundry room
-
A medical surgery
-
Staff support at all times of the day and night
From wellbeing to fun, study to sport, every facility is in place to make boarding life comfortable, structured and enjoyable.
