Fifth Year pupil, Tom, signs for PNE on 2 year scholarship!

Congratulations to Kirkham Grammar School Fifth Year pupil, Tom, who has signed at Preston North End Football Club. After being on trial for a number of weeks, Tom was given a 2 year scholarship and will look to progress further at the club.

Tom, who has signed for PNE via grassroots, has adapted very quickly. He started in a much-rotated line-up for the U19s in a derby against Blackpool towards the end of the 2021/22 season and impressed with his aerial presence and competence on the ball despite being only 16 years of age. His towering height makes him effective in both penalty areas and he will no doubt have a bigger role to play during the 2022/23 season.
