Kirkham Grammar Junior, Infant and Pre-School welcomed Reverend Bunday into school yesterday afternoon to conduct their Service of Remembrance. The pupils and staff gathered together wearing their poppies with pride. KGJS were delighted to welcome back former Junior School pupil and KGS Third Year pupil, Oscar Harkins, to play the Last Post. J4 pupils, Ethan Davies, Evelyn So, Jack Dawson-Gerrard and Zara Gilchrist contributed magnificently with their poems and readings. The school joined together with two beautiful hymns, 'Be Still for The Presence Of The Lord' and 'Peace, Perfect Peace'. It was a very poignant service which allowed the whole school community to reflect and remember all those who laid down their lives for us.
