Bradley Yates has had a successful year on the track. In May he won the under 13’s 800m and 1500m at the Lancashire Track and Field Championships, with Championship best performances in both events.
After a move to Sale Harriers in May, Bradley was invited to run the British Millers Club 600m development race. This race was at Sportscity, which he won in a record time of 1:36.3 .
Another invitation to run was in the under 15’s 800m at Stretferd. This enabled him to run a time of 2:14.7, which puts him 5th in the UK rankings for the event.
Also in the 1500m Bradley has been head to head for 1st place in the UK rankings with a boy from Scotland. In June, at Sportscity, Bradley ran 4:30.57 which puts him back at top by 3 tenths of a second.
