Sixth Form students Lucy Fielding and Robert Malings have been appointed as Captains of School at Kirkham Grammar School for the coming year. They bring an impressive breadth of success and involvement in the school community to their jobs.
Lucy is a former pupil of The Willows Primary School, Kirkham, and is studying Drama, English Literature, Latin, Maths and Further Maths at A Level. She is planning to take a degree in Classics and English Literature at university, and would like to pursue a career in the media. Lucy is involved in a variety of activities at school, including swimming, music, drama, cadets and public speaking.
Robert is a former pupil of St Michael’s Primary School, Kirkham and is studying Biology, Chemistry, Geography, and English at A Level. He is planning to study Geography at university. Robert is a traditional “all rounder”, being a member of the Second Fifteen Rugby Team and the School Choir, and he is equally at home on stage or on the parade ground with the Cadet Force.
