Pupils who find pleasure in creative work are encouraged to develop their interests in drawing, painting and three-dimensional work in the school’s two art rooms. The Senior Art Room is a spacious, purpose built studio, with its own artlab and mezzanine floor. The department has its own Apple Mac computer network and the Head of Art is able to use this to produce high quality art work for the schools’ impressive annual magazine and termly newsletter to parents. He is also the webmaster of this website. Art and Design is an integral part of the curriculum in the first three years and a popular option at GCSE and A-level. The results are excellent.
