Kirkham Grammar School Second XI vs Cheadle Hulme Second XI
7-0 wasn’t a true reflection of the game. Both teams matched possession however, Cheadle finished their chances. KGS had a slow start in the first half but in the second half they looked like a different team. The girls worked for each other and never gave up until the last whistle. Plenty to build on and a great work rate from the girls.

KGS U13 vs Cheadle Hulme
A much changed U13s took part in an evenly matched game with Cheadle Hulme. The girls defended well, worked hard to pass the ball in the wide areas and moved well off the ball to create space. With the score at 0-0 approaching half time, the game was officially abandoned following an injury delay. After this delay, both teams were keen to play some more hockey so a shortened second half was played. Cheadle scored 3 goals in this 10 minute period which was an unfair reflection given that KGS played the second half without a goalkeeper.
