Yesterday, Kirkham Grammar School I3 pupils visited Old Holly Farm as part of their Geography topic, 'All About Farms'. They met a number of farm animals including baby chicks, collected the eggs from the chicken field and fed the calves! They enjoyed a tour of the milking parlour and were given the opportunity to taste ice cream made with the milk! They were all creative during the painting session and loved their teddy bears picnic! Before returning to school, the children burnt off some energy in the Playbarn! Thank you to the staff at Old Holly Farm for a wonderful day!
